Welcome to Hill and Harbor Nursing Guides and Reference - your trusted resource for mastering best practices in mother-baby care!  My name is Kate, and my mission is to empower new maternity nurses with the knowledge and skills they need to provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
My reference guides and badge buddies were born out of a desire to bridge the gap between best practice guidelines and real world application.  As a nursing instructor and preceptor, I recognized the challenges new maternity nurses encountered when trying to recall detailed interventions and guidelines in fast-paced, real world scenarios.  I created these helpful user guides to help my students ensure they always had up-to-date recommendations at their fingertips.  All of my nursing guides are adapted from best practice guidelines endorsed by leading professional organizations, such as AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses) , ACOG (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), and AAP (The American Academy of Pediatrics).  My students loved the reference guides so much, that I decided to share my products, and Hill and Harbor Nursing Guides was born!

Creating this shop has truly been a labor of love, and I am continually in awe of my wonderful nursing colleagues who strive every day to ensure safer care for moms and babies.  I truly believe that by providing high-quality, accessible resources, we can improve outcomes for mothers and babies everywhere!
